Overview
London Metropolitan University, a public research institution in England, traces its origins back to 1848 when the Bishop of London began offering evening classes to enhance the 'moral, intellectual, and spiritual condition of young men in London.' The university as it is known today was established in 2002 through the merger of London Guildhall University and the University of North London. According to The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2024, the university is recognized as one of the top 10 UK universities for teaching quality and student experience. It also ranks 5th in the UK for student satisfaction in the Complete University Guide 2024 and is among the top 50 UK universities for graduate salaries, according to the Daily Mail University Guide 2024.
